WHAT DO YOU SEA?
An art exhibit by Christina Mcgrath at The Little Gallery in Whangamata
LOVE FOR THE SEA...
In her new exhibition “What do you SEA?” Christina McGrath explores the deep sense and interpretation of the sea and it's connection with our human flow of life.
This body of work is the spearhead of a major project inspired by her extensive knowledge of surfing around the world and her work in the sustainable management of the worlds water.
“Each of these art pieces is inspired from my deep pool of personal experience of living with the ocean. The mixed mediums evoke an element of power and wonder.
I love working with fluid acrylic which allows the flow on the canvas to determine the shapes and richness of the sea, the magic of light through the wave and the uniqueness of each experience out there”.
Address: The Little Gallery, 427 Port Road, Whangamatā 3620
Opening Celebration: June 5th 4-6pm
Exhibit Dates Open to the Public: June 5th to 30th
